Hello guys! The beast challenge was brutal but fun and worth it 😀 I’m really glad I joined and more importantly that I completed the goal I initially set for myself. Also I didn’t take a break because the challenge is over, it was just a coincidence 🙂 On Saturday I went shopping and I spent around 4h walking, possibly more. I was too exhausted afterwards, luckily not much muscle aches. Now I’m back ^^ Also I totally messed up my sleep again: sleeping during the day, which really sucks. Trying to fix that now.
I always make shopping lists and when it’s long enough I go shopping in the center (non groceries). I try to sticky to the list and not buy extra, but I always fail a bit 😛 First I bought some watercolor paper and a natural shampoo and soap. I finally found some sweet condensed milk! Please link any good recipes you know 🙂 I only bought 2 cans as they’re a bit over priced. I mostly eat it with a spoon right out of the can I might try cooking some of get caramel, but it’s bad to boil the cans apparently.
I mainly went to get new running sneakers, as I want to run regularly. However, my old ones are over 3 years old and completely worn out, they’re still comfortable for simple walking. I’ve read and I’ve been told that it’s important to use good shoes to avoid injuries, which is the last thing I need. I also bought a jumping rope and a fanny pack for my phone I don’t understand the fanny pack hate!
Also while looking around for shoes, to my surprise I ran into the international charity bazar!! I love those and it has been many years since my last one. Considering I barely ever go to center, this was dumb luck. Apparently it was the International Children’s Day. It was incredibly crowded, so I couldn’t get a good look of everything, but I got more than enough. My husband was jealous that he missed it xD (his own fault for being lazy to go out haha)
The first thing I bought was a can of Dr. Peppers and a root beer, we don’t have those here. I always thought Dr. Pepapers is more like Coke and Pepsi, but it’s quite different. It has a sort of additional cherry taste, but not exactly. We haven’t tried the root beer yet.
What soda do you prefer if any?
My all time favorite is lemon Mirinda.
Next I found a grape soda (non alchoholic), which turned out awesome, from the Czech stand I think. Also I bought my nostalgia waffle biscuit, sadly it’s not how I remember. Now it has cream, I think it used to have a crunchy sugar powder.
Last but not least I bought 4 teas, 2 from the Chinese stand and 2 green teas from Japanese. I tried only 1 so far and it’s ok. I love teas but I drink them in moderation 🙂
I would have bought more stuff, but I ran out of cash . Few hours later on my way back, the bazar was sadly already over.
I also went to see a friend at her work. I didn’t take any photos of that tho 🙂 And while walking I caught a whole bunch of Pokemons
Have you been to an International Bazar?
Thank you for checking out ^_^
